Bug: posting urls

Submitted by patrick_s on 2013-08-26

hi,
I tried posting urls "http://www..." into a comment through the web interface. It makes my (local) webserver crash. Could it be that the url is not filtered and escaped?

Could you post the error details from the WebIssues event log?

Michał

Hi Michal,

There is no event log, apache just goes down.

url tested as comment: http://param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1&param=1sfksqhkjfhskjfhskjhflkjsqhfqlkshfkjshfkjsqhkfdhlk

I think the problem is situated at the double slash, because when I delete this, it works. Oh and if the string is shorter then 620 chars, it also works correctly.

It must be a problem related to your version of PHP, because on my machine I tested URLs with several thousands characters and they worked correctly.

Michał
