I think it would be great if you could implement a custom numbering system within the issue tracker, for instance, my company wants to have the codes like FTI-0000-00, where the FTI is the company, 0000 is the incremental number and -00 is a sub code for adding related topics within the tracker.
That's a good idea, but it's a customization that's difficult to generalize and build into the product, at least at the current stage. Just like integrated authentication, it's something for the future.
