desktop client - enhance user experience by expired sessions

By desktop client usually happens - for example after hybernating windows - that the session goes expired, and I the user has to login again. The client does not display that information by a logged out client, it just appears when I try to send a new comment or attachment. After that I have to copy the text of the comment, close the window, open it again, login, find the issue again, add a comment, paste the text and send. It would be better if a login window would appear in a modeless dialog if I try to send comment with an expired session cookie. So the client would not be so stateless, it would remember the comment I filled in, and after a successful login I could try to send it again...
