Not all fields are known up front, when an issue is entered, but the various roles need to get in, and assign fields with appropriate data. If there was a view option like [me] that was [ ] then views could be created for action required on missing input data.
We have customers running a software product pre-release, and want them to enter a given set of fields, but they don't know who to assign it to or when it is due. Being able to view (filter) on empty fields would be useful.

It is possible, just leave the value empty in the view conditions.
