"Unknown Issue" pops up when adding a new issue via desktop client

As of today, trying to add a new issue into the project, gives the error window noted in the title. I've been using WebIssues for about 2 months and had absolutely no problem with it. I've also not changed anything before the problem started occurring.

The issue is actually added (it is listed when looking over with the browser version), but it does not show in the client version.

Changing attributes of existing items works without a problem.

In the meantime, I've updated both the client and the server. The problem persists.

That's about all the info I can think of. I can send over a shot of the error window, but I'm not sure how much it can help, since it's empty. The only other thing besides the title of the window that shows up is "This view is not accessible" on the bottom of the window.
