I would love to see a feature for this as well. An example use case would be to have a team manage issues on the backend (using the web or desktop client), while a contact form could be used for a third-party app that submits the data to have imported into WebIssues.

The method proposed above is very generic, but with some effort I think it could be modified for this system as well...
