Have been testing this issue tracker out and we are looking to use it in our business. I have been reading about notifications and unsure its possible to to get an email to be sent to the person an new issue is assigned to. Ideally id like an email to whoever is currently assigned when anything changes on the issue.
is that possible using the notifications built into the system?

Yes, it’s possible, just use a view which filters issue based on the assigned field - Assigned To Me - and set up a public alert based on that view.

Next query is that it seems to send 2 emails each time, is that something I have set up wrong?
Im getting one with just the heading and columns of data and then another with the same info but also the properties and issue history. Any way to make this just 1 email?

I'm not sure why this happens, it looks like there are two users with the same email address or something like that.

Hi Matt,
Doesn't Webissues sends automatically an email to the reporter? If yes, it might be that you receive 1 email as reporter and 1 email as assignee.
