I want to try WebIssues in my pc using XAMPP (wich is supposed to use mysql and apache). I've created a new database called "basededatos" with phpMyAdmin, and the database is located in C:\xampp\mysql\data\basededatos.I have configured db_host as "localhost" and wether I write "basededatos" or the full path (the one I mentioned before), I get the "ERROR: Could not connect to the database server." message when trying to use the setup.php. Any advice, please?

How often should the cron job be run for e-mail notifications? Am I correct in thinking that the cron job must run at least as frequently as notifications should be sent out?

For example, if I set the notify_min_span to 1, but the cron is set to run every 3 minutes, then the fastest time between when a user updates a task and when the notification is sent is 3 minutes?

How can I manage Folder Watches, i.e. re-order/sort and delete them? I have quite a few and managing them is becoming tricky.

I want to install WebIssues Server on my Webspace. I have added my MySQL Connectionssettinggs to config. At the install site WebIssues say:

ERROR: The data tables were not found in the database.

How can i Fix this? The Connection are green.

I have just installed this great tool. Our team has been using jira in other projects, but the setup is much more complicated. For now we use the stable 0.9.x-version in one single project, but I am excited to have a look on the new version.

One thing I do not understand is, that the OS-X-support is not mentioned anywhere. This is great! So I can even connect external designers to the project.
